Events, Corporate and wedding photography in Manchester | FAQ

How long have you been working as a photographer?

I bought my first camera back in 2008 and that’s where my journey started.  After a few months, I realised that the kit lens wasn’t good enough so I slowly started to upgrade my equipment. After 4 years of practicing and training, I professionally started my business in January 2012 and the rest is history!

 What areas do you cover?

I mainly cover the Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire areas.  However, I would consider shooting at any location if travel and accommodation costs are covered.

Who will be taking the photos?

Myself would be the only photographer on the day.  If you require a second shooter, that can be arranged.

 I am camera shy… can u help?

Of course I can! I appreciate the pressure of having a camera pointed at you and being centre of attention so I will give you few tips on the day to make sure you look your best.

What time will you arrive?

I don’t like to rush in the morning so I usually arrive early, you can expect me to be with you for the last 2 hours of getting ready so we can cover everything.

 What time will you leave?

Around 9PM. The first dance is usually the last thing I photograph but I will happily stay for an extra 10-15 minutes longer to capture the boogie moments.

Do you require a meal on the day?

Yes Please! Weddings are beautiful but at the same it is quite a long day for the photographer, so feel free to order me a meal!

How many pictures will I receive?

This will vary depending on a few factors such as how long you wish us to cover your day for, number of guests, locations available and venue. On average, I aim to provide between 300-500 edited images.

What happens if you are ill or can’t make it to our wedding?

It has never happened before, but a little cold or sore throat will not stop me from getting to your wedding and taking awesome photos! Unless I literally have some serious health problems or in hospital, I will be there. If the unfortunate circumstances raises and I would not be able to make it, I will do my best to find a photographer for you with equal skills.

What equipment do you use?

I shoot on Nikon DSLRs. A variety of lenses, speed lights and full studio lights if required for rainy/dark days. All images are backed up on the day as I shoot using a portable backup drive.

Are you insured?

Yes I have equipment and public liability insurance up to £1m.

When will the photos be ready?

I aim to have your images edited and ready to dispatch within 2 weeks but in busy times it can take up to 3-4 weeks. Once you approve the proof album, it should be with you within 1 week.
